After 16 years of wearing spectacles, I finally underwent Contoura LASIK surgery on 27th May 2026, and it has truly been a life-changing experience. Following a detailed Pentacam scan and comprehensive evaluation, the doctors guided me through every step of the process with great care and professionalism. A special thanks to Dr. Rachel Ma’am as well. She took the time to thoroughly explain the entire procedure, patiently addressed every question I had, and ensured I was fully informed and comfortable before the surgery. Her expertise, kindness, and reassuring nature gave me complete confidence throughout the treatment journey. She was always approachable, answered all my queries with patience, and provided exceptional care. Words truly fall short in expressing my gratitude for her support and dedication. Also, would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Sharmila Ma’am and optometrist team Ms.Jayasree and Ms priya for exceptional support throughout my LASIK journey. I underwent the procedure through insurance, and I am extremely grateful to TPA team for their assistance in obtaining the pre-authorization approval. They handled the process efficiently and provided timely support, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The surgery itself lasted only about 25 minutes. Throughout the procedure, the doctors continuously guided me with clear instructions and ensured I remained comfortable and relaxed. Their constant support during the surgery helped ease any anxiety I had. Today, being able to see clearly without spectacles after 16 years feels absolutely amazing. I sincerely thank the entire team for their professionalism, care, and dedication. I highly recommend this hospital and the LASIK team to anyone considering vision correction surgery. Due to my eye problem I visited vasan eye care tondiarpet. Dr diagnosed cataract developed in my both eyes so they told me to do surgery. Dr. Rachel explained monofocal, multifocal, trifocal lenses..I decided to go with multifocal lenses. Dr. Rachel done sugery well. Now I'm seeing distance and near without glasses.
