I have done Cataract Surgey for my Father at Vasan Eye Care Old Washermenpet. Dr. Rachel R G explained about the cataract and about the process of surgery to my Father step by step very clearly. Dr. Rachel R G explained about the types of lenses too which is very help full to us to select the lens. We selected Panoptix Trifocal lens and its simply superb to see the world very clearly without a specs. During the surgery time Dr. Rachel R G was very friendly communicated and caring to my father. The surgery process was painless and completed within 20 minutes without any issues. I'm using Glasses since my childhood from 5th Std, Its almost 15+ years of struggle with glasses I can never imagine a day without glasses it became part of my body. After a big courage and confidence I took the first step to remove glasses via LASIK surgery before the Year 2025 ends. So I can start my 2026 without glasses. I'm now starting this year 2026 without glasses, Surgery took less 15 mins for both eyes and post recovery is 2-3 days. No Pain, No Struggle surgery with absolute results. I visited Vasan Eye Care Hospital - (Washermanpet, Chennai) 15 Nov 2025 for consultation. Took the preliminary test for my eye power and consulted Dr Rachel R G ma'am. Dr Rachel R G, Understood my struggle and studied my previous medical history and suggested to take Ophthalmic Outpatient Department (OPD) examination and Pentacam examination. To understand the eye health and cornea thickness to validate the eligibility for LASIK and type of method which can be used for best results. Mrs Sharmila, Counsellor explained about the multiple LASIK procedures and surgery information in more understandable manner, added checked on insurance coverage procedures. Assuring myself that I'm in right hands. Followed by I took the Ophthalmic Outpatient Department (OPD) examination and Pentacam examination on 22 Nov 2025, Ms Jayasree take good care and proper examinations on both eyes to ensure there are no errors. Results we good my eye were healthy and eligible for LASIK procedures. There are 3 procedures available, for my eye power and eye health Dr Rachel R G suggested to go with Contoura LASIK. I took 2 weeks time to consult with my family and occupation for planning. Mrs Sharmila, kept track of all the details and visits. Ensure we are aligned and clarified all my doubts both pre and post surgery. On 11 Dec 2025 at Vasan Eye Care - Chrompet, All the Scans and Refractive powers examined again on the same day of surgery. Surgery went exceptionally good. Dr Rachel R G and Dr Kaushik performed the surgery with experience in No Pain and No Struggle. Thanks to OT staffs for taking good care. Special mention to our counsellor in guidance and arrangements. Post Surgery Dr Rachel R G, examined the eye and confirmed the surgery status. Mrs Sharmila shared the post op care and medicines to be followed. For the first time I can see the world without glasses, it made me thrill. As per doctors advice it took a good sleep and followed the eye drops in frequent intervals to avoid any infection/dryness. Immediate next day, Dr Rachel R G examined my eyes and re-confirmed eye started to heal and next visit was planned after a week. Post Op, followed the eye drops and lesser screen time with complete rest for eyes. 20 Dec 2025, Ms Jayasree performed the refractive examination and enquired my conditions. I'm able to read/see from distance without any struggle or challenge. Dr Rachel R G took eye examination again and confirmed eye are healing as expected without any issues/infections. Updated my prescription accordingly. The staffs are very friendly and gave a good care for me !!!! Thanks to Vasan eye care, for taking good care of eye and taking my years long struggle away.

Hi Myself Kamali.I visited Vasan eye care tondiarpet for my regular checkup Im using glasses for almost 15 yrs .Dr.Rachel suggested me and explained all the procedures about Lasik corrections .
