I have had Very High Hypermetropia since childhood, ranging in +8 and +8.5 power range. Wanted to get rid of thick specs and for that I consulted Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Marathahalli, Bangalore Branch for opinion on how to get the huge power removed. Dr. Sowmya came as a huge ray of hope and advised me to go for Refractive Lens Exchange
Refractive Lens Exchange is a small surgery wherein the doctor puts powered lens in place of natural lens, so that, we neednot wear specs.
Entire experience was very nice and pleasant. Dr. Sowmya explained everything patiently and gave me the confidence to proceed. Aided by Aruna ji’s motivation and help who vehemently guided me through the procedure and she also managed the insurance process end to end.
The hospital environment is very clean and well-organized, and all the staff are caring and pleasant throughout the journey. From consultation to discharge, the experience was seamless.
I am writing this review after 15 days of having the surgery done (with my naked eyes 🤩), can’t be thankful enough to the entire team over here. My vision has inproved significantly.
