I had an eye gland infection that hit me about 4 months back. I was honestly exhausted from having to use all those prescribed eye drops, ointment, and doing warm compresses every single day for such a long stretch.
Since I was away from Bangalore, I couldn't get to the Vasan Eye Care Marathahalli branch where I normally go for my regular eye checkups.
But because the infection just wouldn't go away, I decided to head back to the city and see Doctor Kanishk. He carefully reviewed all my medications and assured me everything was being done right, but the infection stubbornly persisted. He told me to keep up with the warm compresses and come back for a follow-up so we could figure out the next steps.
When the hot compresses still didn't work, Doctor Kanishk recommended the best option, and honestly, it cleared up the whole thing in just 3 days. I'm genuinely grateful to have been treated by this doctor who actually got me better.
I also want to thank Counsellor Sujatha ma'am, who took the time to explain my treatment plan and gave me such thoughtful advice to help me recover.

I had a good overall experience at the hospital. Dr. Kanishk, who performed my mother’s surgery, was very good, and the staff were kind, supportive, and took excellent care of my mother. The insurance process was also handled very smoothly, which I really appreciate.
However, I would like to share a few suggestions for improvement.
During my mother’s surgery, she experienced some discomfort because an injection was not given to numb the area around the eye. When she had surgery on her right eye at another hospital, an injection was administered, and she found that experience more comfortable. I understand that different procedures may use different types of anesthesia, but I request that patients’ comfort be given special attention.
Also, after surgery, my mother was discharged with her operated eye uncovered, apart from the glasses provided. It would be helpful if the hospital could provide an eye shield or suitable protective covering for the first day.
Finally, having a cafeteria or food facility within the hospital would be a great convenience for patients and their attendants.
Overall, I am thankful to Dr. Kanishk and the entire hospital staff for their care and support. I hope these suggestions will help improve the experience for future patients.
